Want to turn back the clock by a whopping 14 years? You have the power to do so!

Latest research has concluded that by following and adhering to 4 basic lifestyle choices, you have the benefit of adding years to your life expectancy!

Its as simple as:

  1. Not smoking - not once a week, not socially when out with mates....no smoking period. Been thinking about it? Then do it! Kick it now! Surround yourself with supporting people, and don't hesitate to call upon a helpline if needed.

  2. Activity - participating in any type of physical activity for 30 minutes a day. The best tip here is variety and to do the activities you enjoy the most (this way you are more likely to keep it up).

  3. Moderate alcohol - moderate means generally 1 standard drink for women and 2 standard drinks for men. Note, that if there is history of alcohol related illnesses or addictions, its not recommended to drink at all).

  4. Fruit and vegetables - minimum of 5 servings a day. In Australia the recommendation is 2 serves of fruit and 5 serves of vegetables per day. Go for colour, and variety!

So you've heard all the above before, well its now be proven that these mentioned lifestyle choice do make a difference!
